Mayor’s corner

Atty. Raymon Charl O. Gamboa

Mayor Raymon Charl O. Gamboa is a dedicated public servant and an accomplished professional. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering degree from the University of San Carlos and a Bachelor of Laws degree-Juris Doctor from the University of San Jose-Recoletos.

He passed the licensure examination for Electronics and Communications Engineering in April 1995 and the BAR examinations in September 1999.

Additionally, he earned a Master’s degree in Development Management and Governance from the University of Makati.

Mayor Gamboa served as the Chief of the Legal Division in the Department of Agrarian Reform-Bukidnon Province from 2000 to 2004. He was a partner at Monsanto-Gamboa & Associates Law Firm based in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon from 2004 to 2022. He has been a college instructor at Bukidnon State University (BukSU) Main Campus and then at BukSU Kalilangan Campus.

Transitioning to local governance, he was a municipal councilor from 2004 to 2007 and then a Vice Mayor in the Municipality of Kalilangan from 2007 to 2013 and 2016 to 2022.

Committed to bringing government services closer to the people, Mayor Gamboa’s leadership is characterized by a profound understanding of governance principles and a relentless dedication to community welfare.

He is married to Judge Emerita Panganiban-Gamboa and is the proud father of two daughters, Riana Gabrielle P. Gamboa and Rei Dawn Pilar P. Gamboa.
