15th Conduct of Mayor Gamboa’s “Bringing the Government Services Closer to the People” Program, successfully delivered to Brgy. Canituan

Kalilangan, Bukidnon – The Local Government Unit of Kalilangan successfully sponsored its 15^th conduct of “Bringing the Government Services Closer to the People” Program occurred at its chosen recipient, Barangay Canituan, Kalilangan, Bukidnon.

Through the initiative and untiring leadership of the Municipal Mayor, Atty. Raymon Charl O. Gamboa with the support of staff from the various agencies involved, the Local Government Unit of Kalilangan once again, delivered its local flagship program to the residents of the said barangay.

Within the full day event, the local administration conducted a total of one hundred sixteen (116) medical and health-related services of which fifty-two (52) are medical consultations, forty (40) are dental-related services and twenty-four (24) are circumcision operations. Additionally, the LGU has given legal consultations for two (2) different cases and catered two (2) requests for the PSA Birth Certificate. Aside from these, the local administration also sponsored the fifty (50) lucky recipients of hair-grooming services.

The Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Ray Ralf T. Feril with the assistance of Dr. Shardee Mae Garcia-DTTB, Dr. Christopher Sabellita-Municipal Dentist, nurses, midwives, sanitary inspectors, Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Nutrition Scholars along with the barangay volunteers served as the frontliners for the medical services. On the other hand, the civil registry-related concerns raised by the residents such as corrections and request of PSA Birth Certificate were actively attended by the Municipal Civil Registrar Office headed by Ms. Anna Lizza S. Jayme. Additionally, the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office performed misting at the strategic areas to combat and prevent the rising number of dengue cases. Meanwhile, the Municipal Engineer’s Office headed by Engr. Marcial G. Balulao,

along with his staff actively conducted ocular inspections and evaluation of the infrastructures present within the barangay’s vicinity. Furthermore, Hon. Vice Mayor Joel L. Padsing Sr. together with hic co-Sangguniang Bayan members, Hon. Councilors Loido Padsing, Wildred Ramas and Oliver Guibao co-sponsored the hair-grooming services.

Mayor Gamboa concluded the program with a message assuring the residents of the said barangay that the local administration will continue to strive more with best quality and proactive approach in bringing the government services closer to its fellow Kalilanganons.
