Kalilangan LGU, recipient of the Office of the Civil Defense’s “Fully Compliant” Rating during the 23rd Gawad KALASAG Awarding Ceremony

Kalilangan, Bukidnon-The Municipal Government of Kalilangan under the leadership of its Local Chief Executive, Atty. Raymon Charl O. Gamboa, once again garnered the “Fully Compliant” rating during the 23^rd Gawad KALASAG Seal and Special Awards for Excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Humanitarian Assistance for Local DRRM Councils and Offices Category.

Such award is an epitome of the collaborative and untiring efforts of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office staff headed by Maria Jessica D. Gumban, offices involved and the entirety of Kalilangan.

The annual Gawad KALASAG (KAlamidad at Sakuna LAbanan, SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan) is a flagship program of the Office of the Civil Defense which has the mandate of being a frontline in recognizing the innovative approach of the LGUs, non-government organizations and private sectors towards calamity and disaster preparedness and response in local and national community.
