Kalilangan, Bukidnon: The Local Government Unit of Kalilangan under the leadership of its Local Chief Executive, Atty. Raymon Charl O. Gamboa together with the Sangguniang Bayan members headed by Vice Mayor Joel L. Padsing Sr. successfully launched the Closed-Circuit Televesion (CCTV) Surveillance System Project.
Mayor Gamboa stated that the municipal-wide CCTV Project aims to assist and ensure the efficient management of peace and order and effective accident and calamity response to various critical areas of concern within the local vicinity. There is a total of thirty-six (36) high-definition CCTV cameras installed strategically at the accident and flood prone areas. The mayor also added that there will be another batch of CCTV cameras to be installed within this fiscal year.
The said CCTV Camera System is initialized from high-definition cameras to their command base through fiber optic cables. The Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC) was assigned in monitor and taking control of the CCTV-SS command center.
